Dear Friends,
I heard from Greg this morning and he asked me to give you a quick update on some things that are happening there.
Greg has met with several officials including the Mayor. The Mayor is very excited about the Carry the Light Children’s Home – Guascopousca and is very eager to do all he can to help. In fact, it is my understanding from Greg that he called the Governor to set up a meeting with the top person in the country for funding children’s institutions! God is certainly granting favor and moving very quickly in Honduras.
Please help us pray for favor with the officials of the INFA (the Honduran children’s agency). It can cost thousands of dollars to be granted the necessary approvals, but God can give Carry the Light favor in the eyes of the officials. Greg said they have moved a literal mountain of dirt through the construction process and now he is believing this financial mountain will also be moved! Please pray!
He also mentioned that “money has wings here” and he is trusting God to continue to provide.
It amazes me to hear how quickly God is moving this ministry forward in Honduras. I remember when Greg went to “look at possible sites”, but God’s plan was to purchase the land and start building. Now He is setting up divine appointments and setting everything in place for this orphanage and the precious children of Honduras.
