Dear Friend,

Greetings from Carry the Light Ministries!  Please accept our apology for the delay in bringing you this newsletter. We have been busy trying to keep up with all the wonderful things God is doing through this ministry and have lots of information to share.

Construction in Usigu

The new building on our new property is now ready for a roof! It was amazing to watch it rise so quickly and we are so thankful to all who helped make this building a reality. There are many more buildings to come as we follow God’s plan for expansion in Kenya.

Birthday Party!

Our third annual birthday party was a huge success and tons of fun!!! A great big thank you from our kids to their sponsors! We all had a great time!

Missions Teams

Over this last trip to Kenya we welcomed two teams to our home. The first team was from Dallas, Texas and the second from Reno, Nevada. Our children got lots and lots of hugs and enjoyed the many children’s services the teams conducted.   Team members also painted, built stairs, gave physical examinations, taught sewing classes, baked bread (which is now an income generating activity for the Home) and so much more. We are thankful for people who are willing to work hard and get dirty for the Kingdom of God!

Services

God’s Spirit is moving in Kenya! We were honored to conduct five minister’s conferences while there in July and August. Many lives were changed as ministers and laypeople were empowered and encouraged through the teaching, preaching, and the prayers of anointed men and women of God.  We also witnessed several salvations.

More Progress

The second story water tank has now been installed on the water tower.  This means that showers are now possible during blackouts.  That is great news!  A beautiful rock porch has been built behind the kitchen.  Also, the second balcony has been completed.

Adventure

Several of our children were treated to the adventure of their lives. They got to go to a game park with their sponsors who were visiting them!  They had never seen African animals other than monkeys and were amazed beyond words. They even got to see Babu take off in a plane!

God is good!  We continue to follow the path He has planned for us with great excitement!  Please remember us in your prayers. He is so faithful!!!
Thank you so much to all of you who have partnered with us in this ministry.  May God richly bless you beyond your wildest dreams.
Sincerely,

Rev. Greg Haynes
