In the Old Testament- The people were told to obey the word (To live according to the commandments)
In the New Testament-We DO the Word: Acting our lives according to what the Word says.We were BORN AGAIN by the Word. The Word gives birth to the Word.
We are an expression of God’s life. The Word of God is at work in us
Acts 14:1, NLT, So Paul called to him in a loud voice, “Stand up!” And the man jumped to his feet and started walking. We note that Paul did not need to prepare because God’s word and power dwelt in him. He commanded, and the lame man walked.
We are the Epistles of Christ. The Gospel means, Go spell….If you are not walking, Walk and Go! Let the word act in your situation! 2 Peter 1:4, KJV: “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
